Easy Amish white bread made in a bread machine. Perfectly sweet loaf for sandwiches.
Ingredients:
  • 2.75 cups bread flour
  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1.125 cups warm water, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • Add flour, oil, yeast, sugar, salt, and warm water to the bread machine, following the specified order or your manufacturer's recommendation.
  • Choose the White Bread cycle setting.
  • After dough completes the first rise cycle and begins the second kneading cycle, turn off the machine. Restart on the White Bread Cycle and allow it to run through the full cycle this time.
  • Take out the freshly baked loaf once the cycle finishes.
