Elevate classic apple pie with pears, cranberries, and a delicious brown sugar walnut crumble topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 cups thinly sliced, peeled tart apples
  • 3 cups thinly sliced, peeled ripe pears
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Follow the instructions on the box to place the pie crust in a 9-inch glass pie plate for a One-Crust Filled Pie.
  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Add apples, pears, and dried cranberries, gently tossing to mix. Transfer the filling into the prepared crust in the pie plate.
  • Combine topping ingredients in a small bowl until crumbly, then sprinkle over the filling.
  • Prepare a 15x10-inch pan lined with foil and place it on the oven rack below where the pie will be baked to catch any spillover. Cover the pie loosely with foil and bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
