Indulge in a divine Pear-Cranberry-Apple crisp, bursting with fruity goodness, baked until golden and irresistible.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
  • 4 cups chopped peeled pears (2 lb)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 bags (1.75 oz each) sweetened dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups chopped peeled apples (about 1 lb)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and generously coat a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Place flour, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon in a food processor. Pulse until oats are coarsely chopped. Add butter and pulse until mixture is combined. Transfer to a small bowl, stir in pecans, and chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  • Combine 1 cup of pears, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, cranberries, cornstarch, and honey in a 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in apples and the remaining 3 cups of pears. Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle the chilled topping over the fruit.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the topping is golden. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving warm.
