Quick and classy wedge salad with bacon, apples, and blue cheese. Ready in 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices thick-sliced bacon
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, cut into 8 wedges
  • 1 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (1 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a cookie sheet with foil. Arrange bacon slices on the prepared sheet.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway until crispy. Let it cool for 5 minutes then chop or crumble bacon into small pieces.
  • Combine apples with refreshing lemon juice in a medium bowl.
  • Place lettuce wedges on a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle with dressing, sprinkle with bacon, add apples and cheese on top.
