Elevate your Sunday brunch with delicious Bisquick treat topped with savory sauce and sweet syrup for adults to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 apples, peeled, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 2 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups real maple or maple-flavored syrup
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon butter
Instructions:
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add apple slices and toss in the butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour in 1 tablespoon of bourbon and add the bacon. Cook until apples are tender. Remove from heat, cover, and keep warm.
  • In a medium bowl, gently combine pancake ingredients until just mixed. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat (375°F) and lightly brush with vegetable oil or cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until edges are set and bubbles form on top. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  • Microwave syrup and 2 tablespoons of bourbon until warm in a microwavable bowl or measuring cup. Stir in 1 teaspoon of butter until melted.
  • Enjoy your fluffy pancakes topped with a delicious bourbon-apple-bacon sauce and drizzled with bourbon-maple syrup.
