Apple and pear crumble

Impressive and delicious crumble recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 82.50 ml raisins
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 187.50 gm water
  • 75.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 0.63 gm ground cinnamon
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 40g Flora Buttery Spread
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 210°C for the perfect baking temperature.
  • In a saucepan, combine apples, pear, raisins, a cinnamon stick, and water. Cook covered until the fruit is tender. Drain the fruit and transfer to a 1-liter ovenproof dish.
  • Combine sifted flour and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix in sugar. Use your fingertips to blend in Flora Buttery spread. Sprinkle the mixture over the fruit.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, about 15 minutes. Enjoy with a side of low-fat yogurt or custard.
