Apple and sultana crumble

Elevate your crumble dessert with a quick shortcut: Use Anzac biscuits for a deliciously easy topping!
Ingredients:
  • Melted butter, to grease
  • 1 x 800g can sliced apple
  • 45g (1/4 cup) sultanas
  • 0.63 gm ground cinnamon
  • 1 x 375g pkt Anzac biscuits, coarsely broken
  • 50g (1/3 cup) plain flour
  • 100g butter, melted
  • Thickened cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 1.25L (5-cup) baking dish with butter. Mix apples, sultanas, and cinnamon in a bowl. Transfer the apple mixture into the greased dish.
  • Place the biscuit in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add flour and butter, pulse until well combined. Sprinkle over the apple mixture.
  • Bake until golden brown in the oven for about 15 minutes. Serve promptly with a dollop of cream.
