Irresistible apple walnut loaf cake.
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 187.50 gm SPLENDA® Granular
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 medium granny smith apple, cored, grated
  • 8.80 gm vanilla extract
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 2.50 gm mixed spice
  • 115.00 gm walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced) and generously grease a 7cm-deep, 9cm x 25.5cm loaf pan. Line the base and sides with baking paper, leaving a 5cm overhang at both long ends.
  • In a cozy saucepan, let the butter melt over gentle heat. Pour it into a bowl and add SPLENDA®, flour, eggs, apple, vanilla, milk, mixed spice, and most of the walnuts. Stir until everything is beautifully mixed. Spread the mixture into a pan.
  • Bake until a skewer comes out clean, for about 50-55 minutes. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve in thick slices.
