Indulgent caramel apple cheesecake - the perfect fall treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 12 pecan halves
  • 0.66666668653488 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and set aside 3/4 cup of scrumptious apple pie filling.
  • Spread the remaining pie filling over the crust. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in eggs until well combined. Pour the mixture over the apple filling in the crust.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) until center is set, about 35 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature after removing from oven.
  • Combine the apple filling and caramel topping in a small saucepan and heat for 1 minute. Place apple slices around the cheesecake's outer edge, spread caramel sauce evenly, decorate with pecan halves, sprinkle with chopped pecans, and chill before serving.
