Indulgent caramel cheesecake bars with baked apple slices and a decadent layer of Marzetti® Old Fashioned Caramel Dip.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Marzetti's® Old Fashioned Caramel Dip
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, then generously grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Mix all crust ingredients in a bowl until crumbly and the butter pieces disappear. Press the mixture onto the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake until lightly golden, about 10-12 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whip cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Mix in Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip until smooth. Blend in flour on low speed, then add egg and vanilla until just combined. Pour cream cheese mixture over baked crust and top with arranged apple slices, pressing them into the cream cheese layer.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, then let the bars cool to room temperature.
  • Chill until firm, then spread Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip on top before serving.
  • Enjoy by slicing and serving, then keep fresh by storing covered in the refrigerator.
