Apple Chips with Salted Caramel Yogurt Dip

Tasty yogurt dip for crispy apple chips, a perfect fall snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple
  • 1 tablespoon fat-free caramel topping
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original yogurt apple crisp
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 275°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Thinly slice the apple using a sharp knife, making slices approximately 1/8 inch thick. Arrange the slices on a cookie sheet.
  • **Rewritten Step:** Bake for 30 minutes, then quickly flip slices. Continue baking for an additional 30 to 40 minutes or until beautifully golden brown and crispy. Let the apples cool on the cookie sheet to help them crisp up even more.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat caramel topping uncovered on High for 30 seconds. Stir in salt. Place yogurt in another small bowl, drizzle with salted caramel, top with chopped walnuts, and serve with apple chips for dipping.
