Caramel Apple Chocolate Bark

Indulgent chocolate bark with apple chips, caramel, and a perfect blend of sweet and salty crunch.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 0.75 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 (11 ounce) package caramel bits (such as Kraft®)
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package apple chips
Instructions:
  • Add 2 cups of rich chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and gently melt in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring well after each interval, until velvety and uniform.
  • Prepare a 13x18 baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Spread the chocolate onto the baking sheet evenly and thinly. Let it cool briefly.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel bits in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until the caramel bubbles. Drizzle the warm caramel over the chocolate and gently swirl it with a spatula. Top with pretzels, pecans, and apple chips while the caramel is warm, pressing them into the caramel using parchment paper. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Melt the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips in the microwave, then drizzle it evenly over the entire tray from a zip-top bag with a small corner cut off.
  • Chill in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours until fully set. Cut into squares or break into large pieces before serving.
