Indulge in our delightful twist on classic apple crisp - Chocolate Apple Crumble. The perfect fall dessert with warm caramel and chocolate. A new favorite for cozy nights at home.
Ingredients:
  • 8 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped into 1 inch chunks
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 caramels, unwrapped, chopped
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread apples evenly in baking dish. Toss with flour and cinnamon until coated. Top with chopped caramels.
  • Combine cookie mix and melted butter in a large bowl, using a fork, until crumbly. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips, then sprinkle over apple mixture.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is irresistibly golden brown and bubbling.
