Try this irresistible baked apple cobbler - the perfect dessert for any gathering!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Place 1/2 cup of butter in an 8-inch square baking dish and let it melt in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 minutes. Take the dish out of the oven and set it aside. Then raise the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Melt the last 1/4 cup of butter in a skillet over low heat. Add brown sugar and cinnamon; sauté for 2 minutes. Mix in sliced apples and take it off the heat.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, white sugar, and baking powder. Mix in milk until well combined. Pour batter over melted butter in the baking dish. Arrange apples evenly on top without stirring.
  • Bake until golden brown for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven.
