Creamy brie and apple crisp: a winning duo!
Ingredients:
  • 1 round (16 oz) Brie cheese
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups raw pecans
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 small to medium red apples, chopped
  • Crackers or toasted bread, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously grease a 10- to 12-inch round pie plate or baking dish with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Arrange the round of Brie in the center of the pie plate.
  • Combine oats, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and pecans in a medium bowl. Use your hands to blend in the softened butter until mixture is moist. Stir in apples.
  • Evenly coat Brie with apple mixture on top and sides.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the golden brown crisp topping emerges. Serve hot alongside crackers or toasted bread.
