Apple crisp: Sweet apples with oatmeal-walnut topping, maple syrup drizzle, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 pounds apples - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 packets instant maple and brown sugar oatmeal
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Spread a layer of apples in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl. Mix in flour, instant oatmeal, and salt. Add walnuts. Sprinkle oatmeal mixture evenly over apples. Drizzle with maple syrup.
  • Bake until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown, for 50 to 70 minutes in a preheated oven.
