Irresistible fluffy bakery-style doughnuts that will leave everyone craving more!
Ingredients:
  • 95g self-raising flour
  • 55g caster sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 125ml milk
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 2 Fuji apples
  • 24.00 gm icing sugar
  • Ground cinnamon, to sprinkle
  • Vanilla ice cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Pour in the mixture of milk and egg, and whisk until a thick, smooth batter forms.
  • Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, trimming the ends, and slicing each into 8 thin rounds.
  • Coat apple rounds in batter, removing any extra. Fry in batches for around 1 minute per side until golden and puffed. Place doughnuts on a wire rack, sprinkle with icing sugar, and dust with cinnamon. Enjoy warm with ice cream.
