Warm up with holiday apple pie liquor made from spiced apple syrup and grain alcohol.
Ingredients:
  • 18 cups water
  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 6 (6 ounce) cans frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 7 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle 190 proof grain alcohol (such as Everclear®)
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, combine water, apple cider, apple juice concentrate, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until mixture is reduced, about 45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  • Mix grain alcohol into the mixture until fully integrated. Allow the apple pie liquor to cool completely. Transfer the apple pie liquor and 1 cinnamon stick to a jar or container.
