Succulent baby back ribs are marinated and basted in a flavorful soy-apricot glaze for extra tanginess and tenderness.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 pounds baby back pork ribs
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar apricot preserves
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • aluminum foil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large roasting pan, lay down the ribs. Mix apricot preserves, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder until smooth. Pour the marinade over the ribs, cover, and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and line a baking pan with aluminum foil.
  • Take ribs out of the marinade, letting any extra marinade drip off. Arrange ribs in the baking pan and season with salt and pepper. Transfer remaining marinade to a saucepan, bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes; set aside.
  • Place the ribs in the oven and brush them with the flavorful marinade regularly. Bake until the meat is tender and easily comes off the bone, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Check with a meat thermometer - it should register 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
