Quick and delicious weeknight meal! Brown pork chops, then cook with apricot ginger wine sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup apricot preserves
  • 0.33333334326744 cup fruity white wine, such as Gewurztraminer
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
Instructions:
  • Combine the apricot preserves, wine, and ground ginger in a small bowl and let the flavors meld together.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops on each side until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked chops to a plate. Lower the heat to medium-low and add the apricot preserves mixture to the same skillet. Let it simmer until thickened, around 4 minutes. Gently place the pork chops back into the skillet, coating them with the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to marry the flavors.
