Air-fried pork ribs coated in a spicy-sweet chili, apricot, and ginger glaze for irresistible flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds country-style pork ribs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chili sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground dried chipotle pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and the oven to 200°F (95°C).
  • Coat the ribs with a glossy layer of 2 tablespoons of oil and generously season with salt and pepper. Place half of the ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the ribs until they are tender and fully cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes. Use a thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Keep the cooked ribs warm in the oven while you finish cooking the rest.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, sauté shallot in 2 teaspoons of oil until tender, about 3 minutes. Add chili sauce, apricot preserves, soy sauce, ginger, and chipotle pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is bubbly, for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Place the ribs on a beautiful serving platter, generously coat them with the delicious glaze, and top them off with fresh chives for a stunning presentation.
