Indulgent sauce made with sauteed mushrooms, onions, butter, thyme, chicken broth, cream, Parmesan, and artichoke marinade, served over linguini.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package linguini pasta
  • 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1 (6 ounce) can marinated artichoke hearts
Instructions:
  • Prepare the linguini by cooking it in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
  • Saute mushrooms and onion in butter or margarine, infuse with thyme, then stir in flour. Pour in chicken broth and half and half and bring to a boil until thickened. Add artichoke liquid and Parmesan.
  • After cooking the linguini, toss it in the delicious sauce, then gently fold in the artichokes. Enjoy immediately.
