Tender marinated beef cubes and garlic sizzle in this flavorful Asian bo luc lac dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds beef tenderloin, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (such as Maekrua®)
  • 4 large cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cabernet Sauvignon wine
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 2 drops sesame oil, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Place the beef cubes in a lidded container. Combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 4 minced garlic cloves, wine, 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl. Mix the marinade well and pour it over the beef. Let the beef marinate for 10 to 30 minutes.
  • Combine 1 tablespoon fish sauce, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon black pepper in a bowl and whisk until the dipping sauce is thoroughly mixed.
  • In a hot wok or large skillet, sizzle 2 tablespoons olive oil before adding beef and marinade. Stir in 2 tablespoons oyster sauce and 4 cloves minced garlic while cooking until beef is done and sauce thickens, about 5 to 10 minutes, for a harmonious blend of flavors.
  • Present the beef with a side of delicious dipping sauce.
