Savory-sweet pork meatballs with soy, shallots, ginger, and brown sugar, paired with an easy 3-ingredient dipping sauce. Perfect for parties (serves 10) or a simple dinner (serves 4) over rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ plain panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh gingerroot
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (from 6.5-oz bottle)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a 15x10x1-inch pan by lining it with foil and spraying with cooking spray.
  • Combine all Meatball ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Shape the mixture into 20 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs using a rounded tablespoon measure and place them in a baking pan. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the meatballs are no longer pink in the center and reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
  • In a small bowl, combine the Sauce ingredients and serve with meatballs.
