Vibrant sugar snap peas tossed in a savory soy sauce and sesame dressing, served hot as a side or chilled for a refreshing Asian appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons garlic flavored olive oil
  • 0.25 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 drops chili oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler in the top position in the oven.
  • Spread snap peas on a baking pan, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly in a single layer.
  • Roast the snap peas in the preheated oven until tender, for about 5 minutes.
  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, brown sugar, and sesame seeds in a large bowl. Toss the roasted snap peas with the sauce right when they come out of the oven.
