Delicious Asian turkey sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls made with ground turkey, panko bread crumbs, and green onions.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs, divided
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2.5 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 1.5 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon white sugar
  • 4 (4 roll) packages Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, greasing it with cooking spray.
  • Mix together the turkey, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, green onions, egg, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl until well combined.
  • Transfer the remaining bread crumbs to a shallow bowl. Shape the turkey mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls using wet hands, then coat them in bread crumbs. Gently flatten between your palms to form patties and place on the baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until fully cooked and center is no longer pink, about 20-25 minutes.
  • Combine mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce in a bowl, then sweeten with sugar to taste.
  • Top Hawaiian dinner rolls with succulent turkey sliders and drizzle with a delectable mayo-teriyaki sauce.
