Quick and flavorful salmon patties, bursting with freshness. Serve with lime wedges and mint leaves for a zesty twist! Ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 460g skinless salmon fillets, coarsely chopped
  • 60ml chilli sauce
  • 36.80 gm sunflower oil
  • 60ml fish sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 carrot, peeled, cut into long matchsticks
  • 100g green beans, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml unsalted peanuts, toasted, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend half of the salmon with 2 tsp of the chili garlic sauce until finely chopped. Add the remaining salmon and pulse until just combined. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, sizzle the oil. Then, sear the patties for 5 minutes on each side or until perfectly cooked. Gently place them on a plate to rest.
  • Pour in the fish sauce and the rest of the chili garlic sauce, let it come to a boil. Put the fish cakes back in the pan and spoon the sauce over them. Take it off the heat and mix in the lime juice.
  • Place the lettuce and carrot in an appetizing display on a large serving plate. Add the patties on top and drizzle the flavorful sauce from the pan. Finish by sprinkling with the green beans and peanuts before serving.
