Deliciously rich and spicy crockpot wings require minimal effort – slow cook then finish in the oven with extra sauce for a lip-smacking meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 (4 pound) frozen chicken wing sections, thawed
Instructions:
  • Assemble your ingredients.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/2 cup butter with 1 bottle of hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  • Place succulent chicken wings into the inviting embrace of the slow cooker before lavishing them with the flavorful sauce mixture.
  • Begin by cooking on high for one hour, then gently lower the heat to low and continue cooking for another hour.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) while you generously grease multiple baking sheets.
  • Arrange the wings on the baking sheets and bake them in the preheated oven until they are beautifully crisp and golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of butter with a bottle of hot sauce. Simmer until thickened, for about 20 minutes. Brush the sauce onto wings right before serving.
