Baby Block Cereal Bars

Whip up adorable baby block cookies for any occasion or gift.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 bag (10 1/2 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
  • 3 cups Cheerios™ cereal
  • 3 cups Kix® cereal
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • Betty Crocker™ Easy Flow decorating icing (any colors)
Instructions:
  • Coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter on High for about 45 seconds or until melted.
  • Add fluffy marshmallows and mix gently until they are fully coated. Microwave the mixture uncovered on the highest setting for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Remember to give it a stir after 45 seconds, continuing until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cereals and peanuts promptly and mix until well coated. Press the mixture firmly into the pan. Allow it to cool for around 1 hour or until it sets. Cut into 9 blocks, forming 3 rows by 3 rows. Decorate with decorating icing as you like. Store covered loosely.
