Impress guests at your baby shower with stunning cakes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 340g packets golden buttercake cake mix
  • 36.00 gm lilac sugar pearl cachous
  • 24 mixed baby icing cake toppers
  • 250g butter, softened
  • 450.00 gm icing sugar mixture
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • Blue, pink and yellow food colourings
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Line two 12-hole muffin pans with paper cases. Each hole should have a 1/3 cup capacity.
  • Follow the instructions on the packet to make the cake batter. Fill each paper case with 1/4 cup of the batter. Bake for 25 minutes or until fully cooked. Let the cakes rest in the pans for 5 minutes, then move them to a wire rack to cool down completely.
  • Prepare the icing by using an electric mixer to whip the butter in a bowl until it turns pale. Slowly incorporate the icing sugar mixture and milk, continuing to beat until well combined.
  • Separate the icing into three bowls. Color one bowl with pale blue, one with pale pink, and the remaining bowl with pale yellow using food coloring. Spread the icing on top of the cakes. Add cachous and cake toppers for decoration. Serve and enjoy.
