Ingredients:
  • 1 sachet dried yeast
  • 4.50 gm sugar
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 200g bacon pieces
  • 82.50 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 40.00 ml parsley, chopped
  • 20.60 gm milk
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, mix together yeast, sugar, and 1/2 cup warm water. Let it sit in a cozy spot for 10 minutes or until it becomes foamy.
  • In a bowl, sift flour and salt together. Create a well in the center and pour in 1 cup of warm water along with the yeast mixture. Combine to form a soft dough. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth. Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  • Next, mix together the bacon pieces, grated cheese, and parsley, then set the mixture aside. Grease a 21 x 10 cm loaf tin.
  • Press dough with your fist to release air, then knead for 1 minute until smooth. Divide dough into 20 small pieces and shape each into a 6cm diameter flat round. Fill half of the rounds with the bacon mixture and cover with another round to make a sandwich.
  • Preheat your oven to 210 degrees Celsius.
  • Place the rounds closely together on their sides in the tin, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Brush the loaf with milk and bake until beautifully golden brown, approximately 30 minutes in the oven.
