Bacon Bourbon Brown Sugar Burgers - A mouthwatering twist for your grill!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon (such as Four Roses®)
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons steak seasoning (such as Montreal Steak Seasoning®)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 slices cooked bacon, cut into halves
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 hamburger buns, split
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 2 leaves lettuce
Instructions:
  • Get the outdoor grill ready by preheating it to high heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Combine ground beef, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, steak seasoning, and garlic salt in a bowl, then form into 2 patties.
  • Grill the burgers for 5 minutes, then add bacon and Cheddar cheese on top of each burger. Continue grilling until burgers reach your preferred level of doneness (about 5 more minutes for well done). Use a thermometer to check that the center reads 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius). Serve on buns with tomato and lettuce.
