Elevate monkey bread with crispy bacon and melty cheddar cheese for a savory twist.
Ingredients:
  • 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled (about 3/4 cup crumbled)
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  • Combine the Herb Dipping Sauce ingredients in a small bowl, then cover and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine Bisquick mix, salt, softened butter, milk, egg, crumbled bacon, and cheese. Use your hands to mix until a thick dough forms. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them in a loaf pan. Then, drizzle with the remaining melted butter.
  • Bake until golden brown, then serve with sauce.
