Grilled chicken sandwiches with zesty pepper Jack, crispy bacon, and customizable toppings.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 12 slices dill pickle
Instructions:
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating it to medium heat and lightly oiling the grate with cooking spray.
  • Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until golden and crisp, for about 7 to 10 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.
  • Season chicken with poultry seasoning while the bacon is cooking.
  • Grill the chicken until fully cooked, about 6 minutes per side, ensuring the juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Top each chicken breast with bacon and pepper Jack cheese, close the lid, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Transfer the grilled chicken onto the buns and layer with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickle slices.
