Elevate mashed potatoes with crispy bacon, creamy Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, and zesty green onions for a delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 6 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon milk, or as needed
  • 8 slices bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
  • 0.5 bunch green onions, chopped, or to taste
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, cover the potatoes with salted water and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat until tender, approximately 25 minutes. Drain the potatoes.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix using an electric mixer until potatoes are creamy.
