Delightful potato pizza with mashed potatoes, cheese, green onion, and bacon on a pre-made crust.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups instant mashed potato flakes
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 (3 ounce) jar real bacon bits
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) can pizza crust dough
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (200 degrees C). Follow the package instructions to make the instant mashed potatoes and then mix in half of the Cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and green onions.
  • Divide the pizza crust dough in half, then press each half into the bottom of two 8-inch round pans. Bake for 4 minutes in the preheated oven until halfway cooked. Top each crust with the potato mixture and sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Continue baking in the preheated oven for an extra 5 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with sour cream, as desired.
