Bacon-loaded pizza with green onions, cheese, and sour cream - a delicious baked potato-inspired dish for game days and gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 3 potatoes
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 (6.5 ounce) package pizza crust mix
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Ranch dressing
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C. Prepare the potatoes by scrubbing and drying them, then pierce them multiple times with a fork before placing them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork. Then remove, allow to cool, and peel.
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, flipping occasionally, until crispy and evenly browned, for approximately 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) and lightly grease a pizza pan.
  • Combine pizza crust mix, water, and oil in a large bowl using a fork until a cohesive dough forms. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes, then shape it into a flat circle on a pizza pan, slightly building up the edges.
  • Place the pizza dough in the preheated oven and bake until the crust is firm and just starts to brown, 5 to 6 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and potatoes. In a separate small bowl, blend sour cream and ranch dressing together. Spread the sour cream mixture over the crust. Layer on the potatoes, bacon, onions, mozzarella cheese, and Cheddar cheese. Enjoy your delicious creation!
  • Bake in a hot oven until the cheese is gooey and golden, which should take about 15 to 20 minutes. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
