Bacon-infused popcorn with seasoned salt, topped with bacon bits and cheese for a savory explosion!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup bacon grease
  • 0.75 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons bacon bits
Instructions:
  • Heat bacon grease in a 6-quart pot over high heat. Test with one or two popcorn kernels. Once they pop, add the rest of the kernels, cover with a lid, and shake the pot continuously while popping. When popping slows down, remove from heat and allow to finish popping.
  • Transfer the popcorn to a spacious bowl or a paper sack. Sprinkle half of the seasoned salt, mix well, and taste for seasoning before adding more salt, if needed. Add in bacon bits and shredded Cheddar cheese for a delicious twist. Keep any leftovers in lunch sacks or sandwich bags for later.
