Celebrate Bacon Week with these delicious Hawaiian bacon-wrapped pineapple rings!
Ingredients:
  • 425g can of pineapple rings, drained and patted dry
  • 1 red onion, cut into six 1.5cm-thick rings
  • 6 x 21g packets string cheese
  • 18 middle bacon rashers
  • Cooking spray
  • Paprika, to sprinkle
Instructions:
  • Preheat the barbecue grill with the hood closed over medium-high heat and prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
  • Arrange onion rings on the tray, place pineapple rings in the center of the onions, tear string cheese over the pineapple, and wrap them with bacon strips, making sure to overlap and thread through the center.
  • Spritz with oil and dust with paprika. Grill with the hood down for 10-15 minutes or until beautifully golden.
