Bacon-wrapped turkey elevates Thanksgiving with minimal effort and maximum flavor. Just 4 ingredients for a delicious twist on a classic dish!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup dried sage
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 (16 pound) whole turkey, neck and giblets removed
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages bacon
  • 2 cups water
Instructions:
  • Collect all your ingredients first. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and set up a roasting rack in a large baking dish.
  • Season the turkey generously with sage and garlic powder.
  • Completely blanket the turkey with strips of crispy bacon.
  • Lay the turkey on the rack in the baking dish and add water.
  • Roast the turkey in the oven, glazing with pan juices every 45 minutes, until fully cooked and juices run clear, for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Ensure the thigh's internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) with an instant-read thermometer.
