Delicious bacon-wrapped turkey meatballs with sweet teriyaki sauce, a must-have for game day parties!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 16 toothpicks
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Mix together ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Shape the mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls.
  • Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each meatball, securing it with a toothpick. Brush the bacon-wrapped meatballs with teriyaki sauce and place them seam side down on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then brush the meatball with extra teriyaki sauce. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the turkey is fully cooked and the bacon is crispy to your liking.
