Combine sweet and savory in a delicious cheesy baked dip, ideal for brunch or cocktail gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened
  • 1 lb white sharp Cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 lb bacon, crisply cooked, chopped
  • 2 pints (4 cups) fresh blueberries
  • 1 baguette French bread, sliced
  • Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Mix cream cheese and Cheddar cheese in a large bowl until well combined. Add bacon and fold in blueberries. Transfer the mixture into an ungreased 1 1/2-quart ovenproof baking dish.
  • Bake in the center of the oven for 40 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and bubbly.
  • Place baguette slices, cut side down, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Lightly drizzle the bread with oil, then bake on the lower oven rack, flipping slices every few minutes until toasted.
  • Enjoy the dip right away with crispy toasted baguette slices.
