Breadless summer sandwich recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, if desired
  • 1 small head of lettuce, cleaned and torn into leaves
  • 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheese, such as provolone or Parmesan
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange bacon slices on a foil-lined rimmed pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until crispy. Then, transfer the bacon to a paper towel to drain and cool before roughly chopping.
  • Whisk together ranch dressing, sour cream, and cilantro in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Fill crisp lettuce leaves with savory bacon, creamy avocado, ripe tomatoes, and flavorful cheese. Top with the delicious dressing mixture or use it as a delectable dipping sauce.
