Irresistible bacon and ranch cheese ball, a must-have for any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 0.5 cup minced fresh chives
  • crackers for serving
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain and cool. Crumble bacon when cooled.
  • Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, Ranch dressing mix, dried minced onion, garlic powder, and half of the crumbled bacon in a bowl, mixing until thoroughly blended. Refrigerate the remaining bacon for later.
  • Shape the cheese mixture into a round ball using plastic wrap for easier handling. Refrigerate the wrapped ball for at least 2 hours.
  • Spread the remainder of the bacon on a plate, combine with minced chives. Unwrap the cheese ball and coat it with the bacon and chive mixture, gently pressing to ensure it adheres.
  • Transfer the cheese-coated ball to a platter and arrange crackers around it for dipping.
