Summer pea salad with bacon, cheese, and ranch dressing - refreshing and simple.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen green peas
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped onions
  • 0.5 cup Ranch dressing
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy and browned. Then, drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Boil peas for 1 minute until tender, then drain and cool under cold running water.
  • Combine crispy bacon, fresh peas, diced onion, creamy ranch dressing, and sharp Cheddar cheese in a bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
