Irresistible bacon-wrapped beef bursting with flavor, ideal for leisurely gatherings with friends.
Ingredients:
  • 4 streaky bacon rashers
  • 4 (about 150g each) No Added Hormones Beef Fillet Steaks
  • 100g garlic butter
  • 500g cup mushrooms, thickly sliced
  • 120g pkt Baby Spinach
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C. Wrap a slice of bacon around each steak and secure it with toothpicks.
  • Preheat a spacious non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 1 minute on each side until they develop a rich brown crust. Then, move the steaks to a roasting pan and bake for 6 minutes for medium-rare doneness or adjust time to your preference. Rest the steaks covered with foil for 5 minutes before serving.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter until sizzling. Cook the mushrooms until golden brown and tender for about 5 minutes. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 1 minute. Season to taste.
  • Remove the toothpicks from the steaks and divide them among serving plates. Spoon the mushroom mixture and pan juices over the steaks.
