Indulge in savory bacon-wrapped sausages, paired perfectly with creamy mash or crisp salad for a budget-friendly and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 4 middle bacon rashers, rind removed, halved lengthways
  • 8 thick beef sausages
  • 186.45 gm barbecue sauce
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mixed dried herbs
  • Salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Wrap each sausage with bacon and secure both ends with a toothpick. Arrange in a large baking dish. Repeat for the remaining sausages and bacon.
  • Mix together the barbecue sauce, garlic, sugar, and herbs in a jug. Drizzle the mixture over the sausages. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally, until the sausages are golden brown and fully cooked. Discard toothpicks before serving with a side of salad.
