Impress with simplicity: Baked fish fillets topped with shrimp, white sauce, and Parmesan. Perfect with grouper, snapper, or catfish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 pounds red snapper fillets
  • 0.5 pound cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in flour and salt to form a paste. Slowly whisk in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce coats the back of a spoon.
  • Choose a spacious pan where all fillets fit in a single layer. Grease with cooking spray, then lay the fish in the pan and top with shrimp. Drizzle white sauce over shrimp and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Roast in the oven, without a cover, for 20-25 minutes.
