Try this irresistible baked fruit buckle for a perfect blend of crisp, cobbler, and Betty desserts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups sliced fresh plums
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for a perfect bake.
  • Place the butter in the center of an 8-inch baking pan.
  • In a preheated oven, melt the butter in the pan for about 2 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, walnuts, oats, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until a smooth batter forms.
  • Spread the batter over the melted butter in the baking pan. Arrange sliced plums on top of the batter. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, fruit is bubbling, and a knife comes out clean, about 45 to 50 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature.
