Baked Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Garlic mashed potatoes baked with bread crumbs for an elegant twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, cover potatoes with salted water and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat until fork-tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain potatoes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine potatoes with cream, garlic, salt, and pepper, then mash until smooth. Divide the mixture into 4 ramekins and sprinkle with bread crumbs on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the bread crumbs turn golden brown and crisp, for 12 to 15 minutes.
